Here is our quick guide on how to be an eco-goth and why it is not so hard as it seems, especially in 2024.

It might seem obvious, but buying second hand instead of new items from the store prevents old clothing from ending up in landfills and it is the easiest way for you to help the planet. Giving new life to an already existing clothing reduces the amount of waste, production and energy making it one of the most sustainable options out there.
- Purchase from small brands who are transparent with their method of printing or their fabrics.
Another great option if you want to shop sustainably but also support smaller businesses is to find small eco goth brands who do share all the information about the materials or methods of printing they use.
- You can always send an email to the company, and if you like shopping on Etsy it is even easier, because you can directly contact the retailer and ask for example:
What is the blank t-shirt model?
Is the t-shirt made from organic cotton?
Does the t-shirt have VEGAN or WRAP certification?
What is the method of printing and inks being used (if there is graphic)?
